The 41st Annual Newport International Boat Show: September 15 – 18, 2011
Each year, the Newport International Boat Show is filled with both powerboats and sailboats displayed over 13 acres along historic Newport Harbor. This year will be no exception. We are expecting 750 exhibitors with over 600 boats ranging in size from 16 to 100 feet, plus kayaks, inflatables, services, equipment and accessories of all types. Discount tickets on sale now!

Good News! One of the Mahaffey Show Tents has been ordered in a larger size to accommodate the demand for booth space this year! Docks on both the powerboat site and sailboat site are filling up nicely and there will be some exciting new boat and product debuts (see below for details). To date, over a dozen new marine-related businesses will be participating in the Newport show.
REMINDER: Exhibitors and attendees are invited to the Latitudes & Attitudes Cruisers’ Party on Saturday, September 17th at 6 PM.

A Program that Adds Excitement for Exhibitors and Attendees: Newport is the place to see new boat and product debuts never before seen in the U.S. To date, Newport For New Products (NFNP) entries include Palm Beach Motor Yachts, Holmatro Marine Equipment – USA, Beneteau, Sabre Yachts, Passport Yachts, North Pacific Yachts, NV Charts, Forespar, Aquabotix Technology Corp. and more.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE! Domestic and International companies with an innovative new boat or product that meets the NFNP program criteria (see website) can still apply! Application deadline is JUNE 30th. Companies accepted into the program receive additional PR, special branding recognition at the show, and the chance to win bragging rights for Best New Sailboat, Best New Powerboat, and Best New Product! Click here for more information.

Did you know that as a NIBS Exhibitor, you’re eligible to win the Edson 5-Star Award for Excellence in Portraying Company Image plus $1000 off next year’s display space?

Each year, Edson International honors a company whose display exudes pride and professionalism. Exhibits are judged by an independent group of professionals. Assessment is based on: cohesive branding throughout; eye-catching and inviting set-up; well-dressed, friendly, knowledgeable staff; brochures and business cards readily available; neat, clean environment, etc. Winners are selected in four categories: Best In-Water Powerboat Display, Best In-Water Sailboat Display, Best Land Display and Best Booth Display (inside show tent). The “overall best” of the four finalists receives a beautiful Edson 5-Star plaque. In addition, Newport Exhibition Group awards each finalist with $1000 toward their 2012 space.

Blue Water Sailing Magazine will host this outstanding couple at the Newport show. Two seminars are planned as well as a book signing in Tent C # 45 & 46. Their stories of adventure on the high seas should not be missed! The Pardeys are scheduled to speak on Friday and Saturday, September 16 & 17th. Click here for details.

Other speakers to date include: Jim Nelson, Pam Wall - hosted by West Marine, Lee Chesneau, Boatwise Marine Training, author Jim Nelson, Jean Levine & Jeff Grossman, and more. A complete seminar lineup will be posted on the website very soon.
