Job Details: Sous Chef

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen and Bar is now seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join its world class culinary team!  This person is responsible for monitoring staffing levels, hiring and training employees, coaching and counseling, and the overall development of both supervisory and non-supervisory back of house employees.  In addition this position will assist with inventory, ordering and receiving, menu engineering and development of the Food Safety Plan.  The Sous Chef assumes the responsibilities of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in their absence. 

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of kitchen management experience in a fast paced, high volume, upscale environment.
