Newport, RI - June 11, 2010- Newport Restaurant Group, a division of Newport Harbor Corporation, is pleased to announce that its restaurants, Castle Hill Inn, The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, 22 Bowen's Wine Bar & Grille, Waterman Grille, The Boat House, Hemenway's, and Trio have donated $1,500 to Save the Bay.  In honor of Earth Day 2010, all Newport Restaurant Group properties donated a portion of their sales to benefit the organization.

"Our culinary philosophy is guided by utilizing ingredients purchased from local purveyors, from fishermen to farmers, and we are thankful to our loyal guests for supporting us in our effort to help raise funds to protect one of our most valuable local resources - Narragansett Bay," said Casey Riley, Chief Operating Officer for Newport Restaurant Group.

Since 2008, Newport Restaurant Group has honored Earth Day by supporting Save the Bay with a variety of fundraising efforts, and has raised more than $4,000 to date.
