As Dining Room Manager, Rebecca is responsible for the operation of all dining services including the dining room, in-room dining, and the bar. In addition, she oversees and trains more than 50 employees in guest service, table service, food and beverage knowledge, etiquette, professional and personal presentation.
"Rebecca has proven herself to be a great asset to Newport Restaurant Group," said Daniel Braun, General Manager. "Her dedication, performance and depth of experience in both the hospitality industry and in marketing has proven her invaluable to our property."
Previous to her promotion, Rebecca was Assistant Dining Room Manager at Castle Hill. A Newport Restaurant Group veteran, Rebecca also held management and service positions at The Boat House, the Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, 22 Bowen's Wine Bar & Grille and Waterman Grille.
Before joining the hospitality industry, Rebecca worked at marketing and communications firm River Rouge, first as an Account Coordinator at the London office, then as Account Executive in Boston, where she coordinated marketing and brand awareness for national and international clients.
A graduate of Connecticut College in New London, CT, Rebecca holds a degree in Music: Voice Concentration. She currently resides in Newport, RI.
Castle Hill is open for dinner from 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the ocean view dining room. Brunch is served Sundays from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and is accompanied by live jazz.
