Enjoy Half-Price Appetizers and Pizzas Monday - Friday in
the Lounge
Narragansett, RI -July 15, 2009 - Trio, located at 15
Kingstown Road in Narragansett, RI, is pleased to present new menu items for
lunch and dinner for the summer season. In addition, guests can enjoy
half-price appetizers and artisan pizzas in Trio's lounge from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00
p.m. Monday - Friday. For more

Executive Chef Kevin DiLibero, in collaboration with
Newport Harbor Corporation's Culinary Arts Director, Casey Riley, has created a
menu of seasonally-inspired appetizers, salads, pizzas, and wood-fired entrees,
also available for takeout.
Starters include Danielle's Pizza Dip: warm cream cheese
and pizza sauce dip with diced bell peppers, scallions, and crispy flat bread;
Rhode Island Stuffies: baked top neck clams with clam casino stuffing, Steamed
Mussels with caramelized leeks, tomato, Dijon-thyme broth, and grilled house
made bread; and Grilled Scamorza: grilled smoked mozzarella, marinara, and
crispy flat bread.
Trio's artisan pizzas include The Gansett: sautéed
shrimp, crabmeat, fire roasted corn, grilled poblano peppers, and queso fresco
and the Fun Guy: crimini, portabella, oyster, and shiitake mushrooms,
truffle-infused ricotta, and parmesan; while sandwiches include the Tuna
Burger: yellowfin tuna, scallions, and ginger mayo on a toasted egg roll and an
Italian Panini: Genoa salami, sweet capicola, provolone, arugula, and kalamata
olive-red onion relish on Sicilian bread.
House-made pasta dishes include Baked Gnocchi: Yukon Gold
potato dumpling, Italian sausage, spinach, mozzarella, and marinara; Gemelli
Pesto: garden basil pesto, roasted summer vegetables, and grana padano cheese;
and Tortelloni + Lobster: truffle pasta, steamed native lobster, limoncello
cream, and an arugula and fried fennel salad.
Trio's house specials a slow roasted Half Chicken with
lemon + herb rub; Pork Chop Milanese with a panko crust, fresh mozzarella,
arugula, grape tomatoes, and potato + fried onion strings; a 14-ounce Ribeye
with house spice rub and a la Mamma sauce; and 10-ounce Twin Filets with house
spice rub and a red wine demi-glace, all served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes
and roasted summer vegetables.
Seafood dishes include Halibut Livorenese: poached
halibut, caramelized oinions, capers, olives, tomato, and white wine; grilled
Tuscan Shrimp with lemon-pepper polenta, diced tomatoes, tender spinach, and
white wine; and Zuppa di Pesce: native fish, lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels,
and calamari served in a spicy red broth over house-made linguini.
Trio is open for lunch Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm -
3:00pm; for dinner Sundays from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday 5:00pm
- 10:00pm and Friday & Saturday 5:00pm - 11:00pm; and for Sunday brunch
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Trio also
offers half price appetizers and artisan pizzas Monday - Friday 4pm - 6pm in
the lounge. Trio features 175 indoor seats and 90 al fresco seats including at
the restaurant's patio bar. Reservations are strongly recommended.
